At Somerset Academy Bethany, we believe that family involvement is key to creating a strong, supportive school community where students thrive. By working together, families and educators can build connections that enhance student success, foster a sense of belonging, and improve the overall school climate.
Throughout the year, we are excited to host a variety of Family Engagement Events designed to bring families, students, and staff together. These events offer opportunities for parents and guardians to participate in the school experience, strengthen bonds with their children, and connect with other families in a fun and welcoming environment.

Ice Cream Social
Date: September 19, 2024
Kick off the school year with a sweet treat! Our Ice Cream Social is a perfect way for new and returning families to connect in a relaxed and informal setting.
Annual Fall Fest – Vendor and Trunk-or-Treat Sign-Up!
We are thrilled to invite families to participate in our Annual Fall Fest by signing up as a vendor or joining our Trunk-or-Treat! This is a fantastic way for families to get involved and help create a fun, festive atmosphere for everyone. Pre-Sale for tickets starts September 30, 2024. Tickets are $5/person and can also be purchased the day of the event. CASH ONLY
Be a Vendor!
Do you have a small business or a special talent you'd like to share with our school community? Our Fall Fest vendor booths offer families a chance to showcase their goods or services. Whether you’re selling handmade crafts, baked goods, or offering fun activities, your participation helps make our event a success!
- Vendor Spaces are Limited – Sign up early to reserve your spot!
- Cost per Vendor Booth: $30

Join the Trunk-or-Treat Fun!
Families can also decorate their car trunks and hand out treats as part of our Trunk-or-Treat! This is always a highlight for the kids, and we encourage families to get creative with their decorations. From spooky to silly, all themes are welcome!

Telescope Observation Night (in partnership with the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society)
Date: November 13, 2024
Time: 6PM
Explore the stars with us! This unique educational event offers families the opportunity to gaze at the wonders of the night sky, guided by experts from the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society. This is a free family event for all ages.
Parents' Night Out!
Need a break? We've got you covered! Drop off the kids and enjoy a well-deserved evening off while they have a fun-filled night at school!
Date: December 6, 2024
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Cost: $15 per child
Permission slips will go out November 1st, 2024
What’s Included:
- A family-friendly movie (The Grinch 2018)
- 2 slices of pizza
- A drink
- Popcorn
This is the perfect opportunity for you to have a date night, run errands, or simply relax knowing your kids are having a great time in a safe and supervised environment.

Paint Night at Somerset Academy Bethany!
Create Art, Leave Your Mark!
Date: January 24, 2024
Time: 6:30pm-7:30
Cost: $10/person
Join us for a fun and creative Paint Night where you’ll have the chance to paint your very own 8x10 canvas! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time, this is an opportunity to express yourself and showcase your artistic side.
Why Attend?
- Create Art – Each participant will paint an original 8x10 canvas to be displayed throughout the school for the entire year, making our school a colorful and inspiring place!
- Pre Drawn Painting – Don’t worry if you’re new to painting! We’ll have Pre-Drawn paintings to help you create a masterpiece. Great for our younger artists.
- Fun for All Ages – Students, parents, and families are welcome. It’s a great way to spend time together while making something special!

Daddy Daughter Dance
A Night to Remember!

Cost: $5/person in advance or $10/person at the door.
Join us for an enchanting evening of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories at our Daddy-Daughter Dance! This special night is the perfect opportunity for dads and daughters to bond, share a magical experience, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
What to Expect:
- Music and Dancing – Hit the dance floor with your favorite tunes!
